MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – Officials were called to a small plane crash northwest of the Miami Homestead General Aviation Airport Tuesday.
For reasons unknown, the small plane overturned in the Everglades National Park, as reported by Local 10.
Two passengers aboard the plane sustained minor injuries. They received medical treatment but did not need to be transported to a hospital.
MIAMI-DADE, FL – At least one person was injured in a collision involving five vehicles in southwest Miami-Dade on Sunday.
According to WSVN, the crash happened on Southwest 147th Avenue near the intersection with 152nd Street at about 1:30 pm.
The intersection was closed for some time following the crash while first responders cleared the scene and assisted victims.
KEY BISCAYNE, FL – Multiple people were spared from injuries in an incident involving a small plane and Miami-Dade transit bus.
A pilot of a Beech A23 had to make an emergency landing on the Rickenbacker Causeway around 5 p.m. Saturday, according to CBS Miami. Upon landing, the plane wing clipped the bus.
Four people were on board the plane and 30 on the bus.
MIAMI BEACH, FL – Two pedestrians were hospitalized after two separate crashes Thursday afternoon, WSVN reported.
Both collisions occurred before 4 p.m. The first crash happened in the area of West 44th Street and Collins Avenue, and the second one happened in the area of West 57th Street.
Miami Beach speculated that a black Sedan with tinted windows struck the pedestrians and five vehicles.
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – What started as a mail theft get-away incident soon turned into a rollover crash Wednesday.
The collision occurred on Southwest 137th Ave., according to Local 10. The mail theft people were driving away from police in a Dodge Challenger and crashed into a wall before the vehicle rolled over.
Police said the driver of the Dodge Challenger collided with another driver before the rollover collision.
HIALEAH, FL – At least one person was hospitalized after a crash between a lightly colored SUV and a dark pickup truck Friday.
The collision occurred on southbound SR-821 near I-75, WSVN reported.
At the time of reporting, both directions of the Florida Turnpike Extension closed.
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – The driver of a tractor-trailer escaped unharmed after the vehicle caught fire in Doral Wednesday.
The incident occurred on the southbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike near Northwest 41st Street, WSVN reported.
The southbound lanes were closed for fire crews to extinguish the flames. All lanes have reopened since.
CORAL TERRACE, FL – A crash was reported at Southwest 24th Street and Southwest 62 Avenue Tuesday.
The collision occurred around 6 p.m., according to the Miami-Dade County Traffic Report Page.
It is unclear how many people were hurt in the crash, how many vehicles were involved, and what led to the crash.
SWEETWATER, FL – At least one person was injured in a crash near FIU College of Engineering & Computing Monday.
First responders were called to Southwest 107th Avenue and West Flagler Street before 8:45 p.m., according to the Miami-Dade County Traffic Report Page.
It is uncertain what the contributing factors of the collision were and how many vehicles were involved.
