MIAMI, FL – A pedestrian’s life was claimed in a hit-and-run crash in downtown Miami Saturday, a report from NBC Miami showed.
The collision occurred after 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Southwest 2nd Ave. and SW 2nd St. The driver of a dark gray Ford Mustang struck a pedestrian, did not render aid, and fled the scene.
The vehicle was found. However, authorities are still searching for the driver.
MIAMI, FL – Miami-Dade Police have identified the pedestrian whose life was claimed in a hit-and-run collision in Gladeview.
The crash happened near a 24-hour laundromat in the area of Northwest 22nd Avenue and Northwest 79th Street on Wednesday, March 15th, Local 10 reported.
The driver was believed to have driven a black Hyundai Elantra or something similar. As officials indicated, the driver struck 43-year-old Osei Othieno Shepherd, and immediately fled the scene.

MIAMI, FL – A crash between a pedestrian and semi-truck sent a man to a hospital Tuesday.
The collision occurred as the man walked from the NW 79th St. ramp and onto southbound I-95. As he traveled on foot on the road, he was hit by the 18-wheeler, as reported by Local 10.
The man was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital for critical, life-threatening injuries.
MIAMI, FL – A 69-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash at Northwest 27th Avenue and Northwest 37th Street Monday.
The collision took place before 7 a.m. in Brownsville, Local 10 revealed.
In video footage obtained by the initial source, it appears a driver of a dark-colored pickup truck was responsible for hitting a pedestrian and dragging him several feet.
MIAMI, FL – A pedestrian succumbed to fatal injuries after being purposefully run over by a driver Thursday.
The woman was walking in the area of SW 27th Avenue and 22nd Terrace around 5:45 a.m. when she was hit by a vehicle, according to Local 10.
Video footage showed that the driver had malicious intent to hit the pedestrian, a 71-year-old white Hispanic woman.
MIAMI, FL – A woman’s life was claimed in a car-pedestrian crash on northbound I-95 near NW 79th St. Thursday.
The woman, a pedestrian, tried to cross the Ianes when a white Toyota SUV hit her, Local 10 reported.
The pedestrian, an unidentified black woman, succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene.
CORAL GABLES, FL – Two were taken to a hospital after they were hit by two vehicles along Cobb Stadium around 9:15 p.m. Thursday.
The collision took place at San Amaro Drive and Albenga Avenue, near the University of Miami, according to The Miami Hurricane.
The two young women were crossing the street when simultaneously, a passenger vehicle driver made a left turn from Albenga Ave and collided with an orange Dodge Charger.
HIALEAH, FL – A woman and a boy were airlifted to a hospital after they were hit by a black SUV before 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The collision occurred in the area of Northwest 186th Street and 67th Avenue, WSVN reported. Officials said the driver of the Volkswagen SUV turned right from 67th Avenue onto NW 186th St. and hit the woman and boy.
The woman was traveling by foot, and the boy was riding a non-motorized scooter. Their current conditions are unknown.
MIAMI, FL – A woman was left dead after a dump truck driver made a turn and hit her while she was walking Monday morning.
The collision occurred before 11:30 a.m. at Northwest 12th Avenue and Northwest 7th Street, Local 10 reported.
Officials are working to determine what led to the collision.
