by

MIAMI BEACH, FL – One man was sent to the hospital after a fight prompted one to run over the other purposefully on Tuesday.

The incident took place in South Beach, WSVN reported. According to an eye witness, a man who was later identified as 29-year-old Keanen Roberts, an occupational nurse, got out of his corvette and threatened to kill a man walking his dogs.

Roberts was alleged to have run a red light. He claimed the altercation started when the man with his dogs kicked his vehicle. The two fought, and the man with dogs punched Roberts and pursued a knee-jerk action toward him.

Both walked away. Then shortly, Roberts got back into his sports utility vehicle, made a U-turn, and then struck the man with his Corvette.

Roberts was arrested and has a scheduled court date set for May.

The dogs were unharmed, but the other man suffered severe leg injuries.
