News: 2 flown to hospital after Hialeah car-pedestrian crash

HIALEAH, FL – A woman and a boy were airlifted to a hospital after they were hit by a black SUV before 6 p.m. Wednesday. 

The collision occurred in the area of Northwest 186th Street and 67th Avenue, WSVN reported. Officials said the driver of the Volkswagen SUV turned right from 67th Avenue onto NW 186th St. and hit the woman and boy. 

The woman was traveling by foot, and the boy was riding a non-motorized scooter. Their current conditions are unknown. 

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, and appeared to be unharmed. 

The crash is under investigation. More information will be posted to the news site upon confirmation.
