NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL – One was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash in the area of NE 11th Ave. and NE 163rd St. Wednesday.
The collision took place around 11:30 a.m., when a driver and a passenger collided with another vehicle and then fled the scene, according to Local 10 reported.
The force of the crash caused the second vehicle to overturn, and the passenger of that car was trapped, extricated by medics, and transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries. In addition, one of the automobiles crashed into a fence.
The two suspects who fled the scene wore ski masks and were possibly armed. They were arrested. Another occupant from the first vehicle, a woman, also tried to escape from the collision but could not because of the injuries she sustained.
Officials have not revealed the exact cause of the crash, indicated the conditions of those hurt, or released the suspects’ names.
