News: 6 hospitalized after crash involving semi-truck on Florida’s Turnpike

MIAMI, FL – Six people were sent to the hospital following a major crash on Florida’s Turnpike in Hialeah Gardens this morning.

According to the Miami Herald, an Isuzu landscaping truck collided with two other vehicles near the I-75 interchange at about 8:45 a.m.

Two people were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. Four additional victims were also hospitalized with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time.
