MIAMI, FL – A big rig driver was injured in a big rig rollover collision around 9 a.m. Tuesday, NBC Miami reported.
The collision happened where westbound Dolphin Expressway intersects with the northbound Palmetto Expressway on-ramp. Troopers said the driver did not negotiate a curve, causing the person to lose control of the truck before hitting a guardrail and rolling over.
The container on the tractor-trailer overturned and came to rest on the grassy embankment along the ramp.
The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The northbound Palmetto Expressway entrance ramp was closed.
