HOLLYWOOD, FL – A pilot died in a plane crash on South Park Road around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

According to WSVN, the pilot was operating a banner-towing plane and expressed issues before taking off. He said he needed to release the banner, and he did. But unfortunately, he could not regain control of the plane and crashed. The aircraft caught on fire.

First responders extinguished the flames. However, despite the life-saving measures that were conducted, the pilot died at the scene.
