DELRAY BEACH, FL – A 61-year-old man succumbed to fatal injuries Monday, Jan. 9th, after a crash between an Uber vehicle and a fuel tanker truck.
The collision occurred along I-95 on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, according to Local 10. The crash involved five vehicles and four passenger cars, one of which was the Uber vehicle and a fuel tanker truck.
One driver came into the fuel tanker’s lane. The fuel tanker rolled over and caught on fire. One of the vehicles collided with a power pole, which landed on two vehicles.
Five people in total sustained injuries.
The Uber driver, 61-year-old Carlos Molina, suffered severe burns and was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he later passed away.
