MIAMI, FL – Major traffic delays were reported following a crash just south of downtown Miami early Tuesday morning.
According to a report by Miami PD, the crash took place at about 7:19 a.m. on South Miami Avenue near the entrance to the South Dixie Highway.

The circumstance surrounding the crash are unclear at this time.
Traffic was diverted in the area for some time following the crash while investigators worked the scene. All lanes have since reopened.
