HOLLYWOOD, FL – Amid severe weather, a Brightline train collided with a car carrier Wednesday night, NBC Miami reported.

The collision occurred in the area of Dixie Highway and Washington Street. Officials said the truck carrying the cars stopped on the tracks. As a result, the train struck the car, and the cars on top fell apart.

In addition, the impact caused a pole and a set of traffic lights to come down.

No injuries were reported.

Train services from Fort Lauderdale Miami were shut down until crews were able to clear the tracks.
