Two Miami Dade Police Officers Hurt After Crash in Miami

MIAMI, FL – Two Miami-Dade Police officers were hospitalized following a three-vehicle crash Wednesday.

The collision occurred before 7:30 p.m. under the Ronald Regan Turnpike overpass, WSVN reported.

It is unclear what led to the crash between the MDPD vehicles and a dark-colored Volvo SUV. The impact led a light pole to fall, and the two officers were taken to Jackson South Medical Center for unspecified injuries.

The driver of the Volo was unharmed, and the officers were in stable condition.

All directions of Quail Roost Drive closed; however, all travel lanes have reopened since.
